Q. What should I call you?
A. Please call me Toby.
Because my first name, Ukyo, is difficult for English speakers to pronounce correctly,
my international friends call me Toby, which comes from my middle name.
Activity History
2026.01.09: Uploaded an 11-min video explaining the key points of our paper published in Neural Networks to YouTube.
2025.12.20: Co-organized the 1st Mathematical Brainscience Young Researchers’ Workshop at the University of Tokyo (held in Japanese).
2025.11.25: My very first first-author paper was published in Neural Networks.
2025.11.01: Gave an invited talk at a research seminar hosted by the Graduate School of Law, Kyoto University.
2025.07.25: Served as a session chair at "Training School for Next Generation Scientists" of the 48th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society.
2025.06.13: My personal website was released!
